About Dr. Hugh Wang
Dr. Hugh Wang received his D.D.S. degree and maxillofacial prosthetic residency training from Indiana University, and his advanced prosthodontic training and Master of Science degree from Georgetown University. Dr. Wang completed his implant surgical training at Harvard Dental School’s Department of Implant Dentistry – the first and only such department in the country and a leading center for implant research, education and treatment. Dr. Wang’s association with Dr. Paul Schnitman, the founder and head of the Department of Implant Dentistry at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine and co-chairman of the Harvard/NIH Consensus Development Conference on Dental Implants, places him in the unique position to work with leading researchers, inventors and clinicians in the implant field.
In addition to operating his private practice in Santa Monica, our implant and cosmetic dentist has also been a faculty member of the Harvard Seminars of Implant Dentistry and has trained dental specialists and general dentists in all aspects of oral implantology. He has also made dental implant presentations at numerous scientific meetings and was invited to Taiwan and Chile to teach implant dentistry. Dr. Wang is a Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics and the American Board of Oral Implantology/Implant Dentistry. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Prosthodontists and the American Academy of Implant Dentistry.
